Terms & conditions

Key To Clean is pleased to provide professional pick-up and delivery laundry services to our customers and offers quality and convenience at an affordable price. Our services are subject to the terms and conditions below. Your use of Key To Clean, services (“Services”) indicates your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein. Please read the following provisions carefully and let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to doing business with you! This agreement is strictly between Key To Clean and its customers. These terms and conditions are subject to change, it is the responsibility for you as customer to stay up to date with the changes, and to review these terms prior to the payment of any of our services


If you’d like to leave your items at a secure spot for pick up, it will be at your own risk. This is also true for delivery. Items left for pick up are not under our care until we have retrieved said items. Items left for delivery at the predetermined location will not be under our care once they have been left at the agreed upon location. Key To Clean is not responsible for, and shall not pay for, any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended by the customer for pick-up or delivery. Key To Clean will not leave items in the possession of any other person that is not the owner of those items unless the owner has given consent. The customer is responsible for ensuring that his/her laundry is delivered safely to Key To Clean.

Missed/Unattended Pick-up or Delivery

If the customer misses the scheduled pickup/ delivery, the customer must coordinate with Key to Clean to reschedule. Customer may be subject to a missed pickup/ delivery fee in the amount of $35 if they fail to provide notification one or more hours prior to the scheduled day & time for pickup or delivery.


Unless otherwise stated, the minimum price order is $35.00, after all discounts and before taxes. If your order does not meet the minimum price order, you agree to pay a service fee that is equal to the difference between the minimum price order and the amount due for services rendered. The minimum order price is cited on Key To Clean's website and may change from time to time without prior written notice.


Residential customers: Service will not begin until Key To Clean has secured payment information via a valid & current credit card. Residential clients will be charged for services within 48 hours of delivery of their items; however, charges may appear or be applied to the customer’s account and payment information after 48 hours. All online payments are processed through Key To Clean's secured payment system. I understand by inputting my payment information it is authorization as payment for services rendered. 
Key To Clean reserves the right to change prices at any time.If additional services outside of the customer’s initial request are requested, the customer authorizes Key To Clean to charge the fee for such services to his/her credit card on file.


Missing or damaged items must be reported to Key To Clean within 24 hours of delivery of your garments/linen. Failure to report the missing or damaged item within 24 hours shall remove any liability of Key To Clean for the missing or damaged item. In the event that any item is lost or damaged by Key To Clean, Key To Clean’s liability with respect to any damaged or lost items shall not exceed five (5) times our charge for cleaning that garment regardless of brand or condition. Key To Clean is not liable for any preexisting damage to a garment or other item and reserves the right to return any item without cleaning it if any preexisting damage is found or if we have a concern about the colorfastness or the age or weakness of the fabric.


At Key To Clean we use Tide and All & Clear Brand laundry detergents for all our personal laundry customers. All & Clear markets their detergent as "hypoallergenic." It is important to note that we do wash clothes in shared washing machines where other detergents may have been used, and it is possible that small amounts of other detergents, which may not be hypoallergenic, may not be completely rinsed out of these washing machines. 

Garment Care

Key to Clean is not responsible for your laundry items bleeding, shrinking, fading, or otherwise becoming altered or becoming worn out by the normal wash-and-dry laundry process. We are also not responsible for any damage from a garment that bleeds the first time it was washed if we were not informed on the Inventory / Special Instruction Sheets that it was new. Key to Clean will not be responsible for any damage that is done to your laundry during normal washing and drying such as buttons falling off, beads coming loose, seam coming undone, etc. Because we are professionals, we use industry standard practices and handle all clothing with reasonable care. Inherent manufacturer defects, weak material, color loss from household chemicals, or previous staining can cannot be prevented or removed and will not be the responsibility of Key to Clean.  Key to Clean is not responsible for any items labeled HAND WASH ONLY, HANG DRY/DRY FLAT, DO NOT USE HEAT, DRY CLEAN ONLY, or any other “special care” instructions.
As our business changes, we may want to modify some of terms in this agreement.
Therefore, we encourage you to check back frequently to familiarize yourself with any changes.
